Mywiz isn't just about social networking in trade industries. We demonstrated this today by adding a different kind of website to the family. Taser Abuse News is an advocacy website that focuses on the growing problem of taser abuse by law enforcement officials.

The site was inspired by an article by Michael McDonnough in which he first brought the problem to the attention of the public. Mywiz creator Walt Thiessen saw the article and offered this new website to Michael to use in his campaign to raise awareness and to fight abuse by taser.

McDonnough will be the primary administrator of the website and will undoubtedly post the most articles there. However, contributions from visitors is encouraged. The more discussion there is about this disturbing problem, the more likely that we'll see positive change come from the attention this website will help to focus on it.
